The Classic Outfit with a Twist
We're two days into Spring, and you wouldn't know it if you looked out the window. Totally fine, I'm a Seattle girl, so I know Spring is going to take its sweet time showing up. But we will have sun breaks, gorgeous days where the sun will bestow its glory. And one thing Seattle knows how to do better than any city is too really enjoy it when it does happen.
That's exactly what I did a few weeks back.
I put together a few of my favorite Spring style staples and crossed my fingers that it all worked to make a fun spring look.
The White (crop) Top.
There's nothing better than a white t-shirt to ring in spring. And what I love about this Zara crop v-neck is that it hits my waist at just the right place. I can't tell you how hard it is to find a top that I don't have to hem, so this was a hallelujah I can't believe it moment. I bought it in every color, but now I'm thinking I should have bought another white one.
All the Straps Sandals.
Straps, buckles, and shoes in white - pretty much everything I love. So, it won't surprise you that I bought these when it was 45 degrees outside and raining. I just knew I had to have them. All shoe lovers totally understand.
Pop of Color.
If you know me and follow me on Instagram, you know that I love color. So this blue jean, white top, and sandals look wasn't complete without some color. Of course, I had to take it to the next level and make sure my pop of color really stood out, which means a yellow FRINGE purse!
Not Your Average Sunglasses
I have a sunglasses addiction. These 50's inspired dark blue Karen Walker sunnies play on the classic look. It fulfills my love of just being a twinge different.
The moral of this fashion story is that you don't have to be scared of mixing so many different style elements. The fringe, the pop of color, the distressed jeans, and the strappy shoes - all work. Well, at least, I like it.
Wear to Wear it.
Lunch plans, a BBQ with friends or just running errands on a sunny day.
